Text customers by SMS when a WooCommerce order changes status, using your own Taysend sender ID.

== Description ==

Taysend for WooCommerce sends an SMS to the billing phone number when an order moves to processing, completed, on hold, cancelled, refunded, or failed.

* Turn each status on or off.
* Write your own message for each status.
* Use placeholders: {name}, {order}, {total}, {status}.
* Each result (sent, skipped, or rejected) is added as an order note.
* The same status never sends twice for one order.
* Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

You need a Taysend account, a live API key, and an approved sender ID. Create them at [taysend.com](https://taysend.com).

== External services ==

This plugin connects to the Taysend SMS API (https://api.taysend.com) to send text messages. Taysend is the SMS gateway that delivers the message to the customer's phone.

It sends data only when an order changes to a status you have switched on. Each request contains the customer's billing phone number, the message text (which may include the customer's first name, order number, order total, and order status), your sender ID, your Taysend API key, and the WooCommerce order ID as a reference.

The service is provided by Taysend: [Terms of service](https://taysend.com/terms), [Privacy policy](https://taysend.com/privacy).

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
2. In Plugins → Add New, search for "Taysend for WooCommerce", then install and activate it.
3. Open WooCommerce → Taysend SMS.
4. Paste your Taysend API key and approved sender ID, choose which statuses send a text, and save.
